Topic: INCAPACITATING THE ENEMY
Text: Psalms 8:1,2
1:O Lord, our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.
2: Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.
Let me start by saying, ‘ if there are no witches, wishes will come true ‘, life would have just got a lot easier if there are no strange forces, the fact that there are strange forces all over the world accounts for misfortunes and evil among men.
They are permitted by God to exist as a long as this world remains. What do they do? They simply wrought evil, they are committed to making life unbearable for all, they are behind challenges, difficulties, disasters, troubles, sicknesses and diseases, accidents, all kinds of evil.
Jesus spoke about them Matthew 13:28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this…’ Apostle Paul spoke about them in Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
These forces contend with everyone, my job is not to magnify them but let you know how to incapacitate them. According to our text, God has ordained power and strength from the mouth of His children ( those who are born again ), it means every child of God carries power in his or her mouth to still the enemy, if you have Jesus you’ve got power to incapacitate the enemy.
Please don’t live carelessly like some people, acknowledge their existence, even Jesus did, and you got to use the power in your mouth to crush them. Rebuke them through prayer, they try manifest in the family, operate in the office, sometimes you just notice some strange occurrences, it is the work of the enemy.
It is important you understand this; you’ve only one enemy , the devil, he only has legion of spirits who he sends on errand, they are called demons. Sometimes you just notice the world seems to be crushing down on you, it is all works of the devil through his demons, but you got power to deal with them.
Do not entertain fear, you are bigger and stronger than them, look at this scripture; Luke 10:19; Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
It is important you know that a lying tongue can’t rebuke demons, a fornicator or an adulterer can’t subdue the enemy, stay holy and keep yourself pure, then when you speak fire will go before you to devour the enemy. Understand that there power is in your mouth, closing your mouth is giving the enemy opportunity to manifest, God won’t rebuke them for you, you’ve got to do that yourself. God bless you.
PRAYER.
* As wait we upon the Lord this day, speak against the activities of the enemy around your life.
* Send evil arrows back to sender.
