Topic: WRONG PARTNERSHIP ( part 2 )
Text: Malachi 1:2-4
2: I have loved you, says the Lord. Yet you say, How and in what way have You loved us? Was not Esau Jacob’s brother? says the Lord; yet I loved Jacob (Israel),
3: But [in comparison with the degree of love I have for Jacob] I have hated Esau [Edom] and have laid waste his mountains, and his heritage I have given to the jackals of the wilderness.
4: Though [impoverished] Edom should say, We are beaten down, but we will return and build the waste places—thus says the Lord of hosts: They may build, but I will tear and throw down; and men will call them the Wicked Country, the people against whom the Lord has indignation forever.
The revelation of God’s word being shared on this platform daily, couldn’t have been revealed by flesh and blood but by the Holy Spirit, all glory to God. I started this important topic last week, and I hope I will finish it today, it is important because some people couldn’t explain why the aren’t prosperous.
Wrong people in your life will bring wrong result, it is important you give attention to this, Jonah on his way to Tarshish was a wrong partner with mariners because he was fleeing from God’s presence, and God’s purpose for his life, please take note of such people round you who are not careful about God, I will tell how to help them before I finish.
Esau is another character you must not partner with, men like Esau will certainly draw your life, your business, your finances, your ministry back, he was a cursed fellow, how do I know?
‘…..thus says the Lord of hosts: They may build, but I will tear and throw down; and men will call them the Wicked Country, the people against whom the Lord has indignation forever. Malachi 1:4. He was cursed by God, you can’t do business with men like Esau and make profit, impossible.
Please note: you can’t play God people’s lives, you can’t bless who God has cursed. Look at it this way; you in business with a man whom God has cursed with poverty, and you are expecting huge some of money as profit,of course the profit is to be shared in a particular ratio, if the business go well this man in question will be rich, now because God has place a curse on him, and God won’t want him blessed, it is either the business does not go well or he gets his share, and spend it on something that is not profitable, but the probability that the deal won’t go well is high. If you employee such fellow as Esau a staff, he will cause damages.
You can help these wrong partners, you won’t need to tell them they are wrong partners, just help them to seek God, encourage them to seek God’s face for mercy. He will definitely show mercy on them. God bless you.
