PREVAILING VOICE DAILY
30th January
Topic: GOD’S PERFECT PLAN 3
Text: Romans 4:18-22 KJV
19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb
20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
22And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.
The third factor important to consider in receiving God’s perfect plan aside from the word of God and faith is Patience. Patience simply is waiting for God or waiting on God to do what He said He will do. Abraham waited patiently on God by faith on the word of God for 25 years before God brought to pass what he promised Abraham, the years of waiting of Abraham was worthwhile as He got the best of God to be the father of many nations and every families on earth is blessed through him.
Joseph also waited patiently on God till his God given dreams came to pass, despite the cruelty of his brothers to him he never got discouraged or gave up on God, despite that the experiences he went through from pit to slavery in Portiphers house and then to prison were exact opposite of the plans of God for him, Joseph held on to God and patiently scale through till God brought him out of prison to palace. In Genesis 39:7-12, Portipher’s wife offered Joseph a short cut to destiny that she and her husband have capacity to make happen but Joseph choose to wait patiently in the right path of the destiny that only God can offer.
Beloved, the basic challenges of this generation is lack of patience to wait on God, we want things done very fast and in our way, we feel many a times that God is slow but He is not, Psalms 46:1 says He is the very present help in times of trouble, also remember God’s ways are not your ways and His thoughts not your thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9).
Dearly beloved, a common proverbs say the patient dog eats the fattest bone, if you want the best of God for your life then you must be able to wait patiently on God by faith in His words concerning your life. God bless you.
PRAYER:
* Father, help me to wait patiently on you till you bring to pass your perfect plan for my life in Jesus Name.
