Topic: THE MYSTERY OF LAND.
Text: Genesis 3:17-19
17: And to Adam He said, Because you have listened and given heed to the voice of your wife and have eaten of the tree of which I commanded you, saying, You shall not eat of it, the ground is under a curse because of you; in sorrow and toil shall you eat [of the fruits] of it all the days of your life.
18: Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth for you, and you shall eat the plants of the field.
19: In the sweat of your face shall you eat bread until you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you shall return.
By the leading of the Holy Spirit I will give detailed teaching on this, it is specifically dedicated to my nation, Nigeria. It is a wake up call to every country man and woman.
The situation of our great nation has gotten bad over the years. The latest happenings show things might go worst if nothing is done urgently, my focus in this teaching is not about Islamliazation or Christianization but the evil that is about coming upon the Land, if it happened, God forbid, both Muslims and Christians will suffer.
I want to major on the spiritual implications of these happenings, before I proceed it is important I say this; the killings by the Fulani Herbsmen did not start today, Nigeria history tells us that the Fulani were not indigenes but visitors and traders who were doing business in Northern part of Nigeria, one of their great Heroes , Usman Dan Fidio by name led a Jihad (holy war they say, but in actual fact satanic) and killed a lot of the Hausas forcing them to accept Islam, it is must be noted that the great grand fathers of the Huasas were idol worshippers just like the Igbos and Yorubas. Usman Dan Fidio killed many of them in their hundreds to take over their land and wives to form the Sokoto caliphate they have today, in fact a university in Sokoto was named after this bloody man. The so called Jihad that was carried out then began the way these Herbsmen began, they suddenly overran the Hausas who thought they were mere traders.
It is important to note that a merciful God will not tell you to kill people in an attempt to spread your religion. These killers must be stopped at all cost because they stain our land with the blood of innocent people including pregnant women and Children.
It is also important we understand that when the land is full of evil God brings calamity upon the land. A land where righteousness and justice is uphold enjoys God’s blessings, but where the government turn deaf ears or probably say, ‘ I am not in a haste to take decisions ‘ while the land is being soaked with the blood of innocent people backwardness is inevitable for such nation.
Either you are a Christian or not we must all stand up against this evil if we want our children to enjoy this land. God bless you and bless Nigeria. I will share more on this next Sunday.
