Prevailing Voice Daily 14th January

PREVAILING VOICE DAILY
14th January
Topic: SINGING THE LORD’S SONG
Text: Psalms 137: 1-9
1: By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion.
2: We hanged our harps upon the willows in the midst thereof.
3: For there they that carried us away captive required of us a song; and they that wasted us required of us mirth, saying, Sing us one of the songs of Zion.
4: How shall we sing the Lord’s song in a strange land?
As believers we have been required to praise God even in our trying times, and you will agree with me that is not pretty easy, understand that in whatever situation we ought to praise God, but when God brings us out of troubles and difficulties how soon do we forget that he has done so much for us.
In difficulties and challenges singing songs might not be interesting, but how come it is not regular when there is no pressure? Don’t be too busy that you can’t sing praises to God, not only in church, or Christian gatherings, praises should be sang everywhere, sometimes when children praise, we see it as disturbance, that shouldn’t be, God is to be praised everywhere, every time by everyone.
If there is anything God wants from us, it is praise, in lifestyle and songs our lives must show forth his praise, the places I have worked, I have been known for praises, you can’t separate me from praises, I have publicly declared my love for God even in corporate organizations.
It is our burnt offering, sacrifice of praise, it goes to God as sweet smelling sacrifice. When we praise God we attract his Spirit, and when his Spirit comes he lifts burden from off our shoulders, he handles things that bother us.
If we see praise as God’s meal, not giving him is like denying him is daily bread. It is important you understand that praise is the only thing God require from us. For his goodness over our lives, for numerous blessings he has giving us, for blessings that money can buy and the ones money cannot buy, for battles he has conquered for us, for blessings we deserve and the ones we do not deserve, for sound health and gift of life, for better life, and hope of a glorious future, for provision, for protection of our loved ones the only thing God requires from us is PRAISE.
Permit me to say, it will be unfair to deny him, we should give him the best of PRAISES.
Great is his kindness towards us, make it an habit to sing to him everyday. God bless you, do have a praiseful week.
PRAISE.

  1. First off I want to say awesome blog! I had a quick question that
I’d like to ask if you don’t mind. I was
curious to know how you center yourself and clear your head prior to writing.
I’ve had a hard time clearing my thoughts in getting my thoughts out there.

I do enjoy writing however it just seems like
the first 10 to 15 minutes are usually wasted simply just trying
to figure out how to begin. Any suggestions or tips? Kudos!
