13th January
Topic: THE MIRACULOUS IN YOUR HOME 2
Text: Luke 7:11-17 KJV
11 And it came to pass the day after, that he went into a city called Nain; and many of his disciples went with him, and much people.
12 Now when he came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with her.
13 And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not.
14 And he came and touched the bier: and they that bare him stood still. And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise.
The passage we are considering today is a story of a widow who lost her only son. By the virtue that she was a widow meant she has lost her husband already and I can say the only thing she looked up to was her son, I mean having lost her husband, her son must have been the only thing that gave her joy and now the devil came to snatch her joy away. I pray for someone reading this devotional that in the year 2018, nothing, not even the devil will take your joy away from you in Jesus Name. As the devil took away her joy, sorrow came instead, that is the devil exchanged her joy for sorrow, I decree into your life again that in the name above all names, no powers of darkness will be able to turn your joy into sorrow this year.
Something great ended this story of the widow of Nain. Am very sure the devil thought he has finished that woman, and that he has won, but the miracle worker performed a miracle in the home of that woman that finished the devil and turned him into a loser. I pray that outstanding miracle that will silent the enemies in your home this year and make them losers, the Almighty God will perform it in your home in Jesus Name.
As the only son of the widow was being carried to be buried and people were weeping, Jesus the miracle worker came by, had compassion on the woman and restored life back into the dead son of the widow. I pray for you, that whatever situation has caused weeping in your home, this year it shall be turned to joy in Jesus Name. Your weeping is ended, your hope is restored and your home shall be a miraculous home in Jesus Name. God bless you.

* Father, I call for the miraculous in my home this year in Jesus Name.
