Topic: SEEKING GOD BETIMES
Text : Job 8:5-7
5: If thou wouldest seek unto God betimes, and make thy supplication to the Almighty;
6: If thou wert pure and upright; surely now he would awake for thee, and make the habitation of thy righteousness prosperous.
7: Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase.
Time of this year started counting 7 days ago, it is important you understand that there is someone behind the clock, he is the God of the universe, there have been thousands of year before and after the death of Christ. It is also wise to remember that so many people have passed on, look around, think about some friends and relatives you use to know and see around that are no more, and if God could count you among the living you must understand it is for a purpose.
The one who control the times of heaven and earth spared your life for a purpose, it is important you fulfill that purpose. In this new year I encourage you to be committed to 3 things:
1, Committed to seeking and serving God in righteousness and holiness: a sinner is an abomination to God, living in sin is synonymous to infuriating the one who counted you worthy to see another year, many people who are better than you are 6 feet below the ground, if he is giving you privilege to witness another year it is an opportunity to serve him better.
2, Committed to kingdom business: just as your business or work matters to you, in like manner God does not joke with his business, it is the business of soul winning, kingdom expansion, spreading the Gospel. Be committed to God’s work in any Christian organization, participate in church activities, be actively involved in evangelism, spread the good news of Christ in whatever way, you can share PREVAILING VOICE DAILY to your contacts to bless them, you can share other Christian messages instead of sending jokes and comedy.

• Committed to helping others: show the love of Christ to people around, help the needy, strengthen the feeble, pay some poor people’s children’s school fees, bless a missionary, bless a pastor, let people be glad they know you. You will make your life better by giving your best to God, make people’s lives better by going out of your way to help them.

From our passage, if you do these; v.7 Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase. You might be starting on a low key now, believe God’s word, your latter end SHOULD GREATLY INCREASE, it therefore means that if you must experience increase, you must put these into practice. God bless you.
