Topic: THE MEETING POINT OF THE SPIRITS ( part 2 )
Text : Hebrews 4:14-16
14: Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

16: Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
If you have been following this teaching you will agree with me that we have done justice to this subject. I just want to make 1 or 2 points more as I round off on this, I will basically explain here what happens when we pray.
Let me come out this way; when there is a challenge, a need, a problem, it forms a burden on your spirit, for instance a financial challenge forms a burden especially when there is a pressing need, it bothers you, your spirit carries the weight, at such point you hear people say ‘ my spirit is down ‘, it is a financial challenge not a spiritual challenge but your spirit carries the weight.
If that is not properly handled it will further affect your spirit, but when you bring it to God in prayer, and you begin to pray, this is what happens, as you approach God through prayer, your spirit approaches the Holy Spirit, at that point the Holy Spirit lifts, takes away the burden, you will notice that after you have prayed, though the challenge might still be there, you feel relieved after praying, this is because the Holy Spirit has lifted the burden, and you will only be expecting manifestation.
Sometimes immediately after praying and after getting relieved in the place of prayer, the problem appears bigger or greater than you left it before praying, it does not mean God has not answered.
Permit me to share this experience with you, several years ago after school, I was desperately in search of a job, I was owing a lady some amount of money, she wasn’t bothering me for payment but her mum was. I had passed job interview in a bank, hoping that I would be called soonest, but it took a while, the lady’s mum kept mounting pressure.
On a particular day of fasting, I was to pray with a prayer partner, getting employed was a point of focus, as we started, the Holy Spirit ministered to my spirit, stop praying just worship me, he dropped a song in my spirit; ‘ don’t be scared, just wait on God, he will take this time away and bring a better time ‘, so we worshipped, I left the place excited in my spirit, as I was going home still praising God, I saw the lady’s mother sitting in front of her shop, it was an open place, she called me in the presence of people and said, ‘ tell me when you’ll pay my daughter’s money ‘, by faith I said ‘ month end ‘, she sounded warning that I mustn’t fail, 2 days after, I was called to take up the job. I paid her with new notes at the same spot she embarrassed me.
When the Holy Spirit meets your spirit something happens. God bless you.
