Topic: THE CRY OF A SINNER
Text: Luke 16:24 KJV
And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
A sinner is one who rejects God and disobeys God’s words and instructions but rather he lives in sin. SIN as an acronyms is being interpreted as S-satan, I-identification, N- number. In other words a sinner has Satan’s identity, belongs to the devil and is a property or responsibility of the devil.
Just as the believers cry, sinners also do cry, however we want to consider the causes of a sinner’s cry and the relevance or importance of a sinner’s cry to his master, the devil.
Many things can cause the cry of sinners such as physical and spiritual challenges of life, wickedness of their fellow sinners who are agents of the devil, even devil their master can mesmerise with their lives like a baby playing with toys just to catch fun since they have his identity e.t.c
The cry of sinners does not move the devil, let me it explain this way; you have a little child and bought him toys, the only reason he has those toys is for him to play with the toys anytime he likes and any how he likes and because he knows fully well that the toys are his and are always available for him to toy with, he often may not see any big deal about the toys after all they are his. But if you take that child out to an amusement park where toys are available, those toys will be big deal to him because they are not his own and if he misses the opportunity to play with those toys at that moment he might have no opportunity to do so again. So a sinner can be liken to the toy owned by the devil to mess with any day, anytime and anyhow.
Dearly beloved, the point is that the cry, weeping or sorrow of a sinner does not move their master, the devil because its just like him (devil) doing what he knows best to do with his property. If you carry Satan identification number (that is still living in sin), God has made a provision for you to relocate to His side of righteousness and He will give you a new identity of sonship (John 1:12) and you will no longer be a slave of the devil, He will clothe you with His garment of righteousness. The only thing He demands from you is repent from sin (Acts 3:19), reject the devil your master and return to God (Isaiah 55:7) by accepting Jesus as your Lord and saviour (John 3:16). God bless you.

* If you want to accept Jesus today, say this prayer; Father, I come unto you today, I acknowledge that am a sinner and ready to accept your offer of salvation, Lord Jesus come into my life, save me and deliver me from sin today in Jesus Name
* Father, I refuse to be a toy in the hands of the devil in Jesus Name
* Father, remove every Satan identification numbers in my life in Jesus Name
