Topic: THE SPIRIT OF A MAN
Text : Proverbs 20:27
27: The spirit of man [that factor in human personality which proceeds immediately from God] is the lamp of the Lord, searching all his innermost parts. Amp.
PREVAILING VOICE DAILY is divinely inspired, the impacts it is making in many lives testify to this. For a couple of weeks now I have been teaching by the Spirit of the Lord on the topic: THE HOLY SPIRIT as I tidy the teaching up it is important I give detail teaching about the spirit of man, the reason is because it takes spirit to relate with spirit.
I just want to emphasize here that God put a spirit in man, from our text ‘ The spirit of man [that factor in human personality which proceeds immediately from God] is the lamp of the Lord, searching all his innermost parts. Amplified version gave us additional information about the spirit, it proceeds from God, it means God put this spirit in man. Just follow me you will enjoy the teaching.
This passage also gives the reason God put this Spirit in man, ‘ it is the lamp of the Lord ‘ this is the reason God can see you at all times, this is why he knows everything about every man, he does not need to bother about your whereabout, as long as you live he knows everything about, in fact you can’t live without the spirit.
‘…. Searching all his innermost parts ‘ this means he knows your thoughts, plans, wishes, programs, your future, what bothers you. It is the search light of God, it is one way God can check on you, access you, reach you , bless you, heal you, empower you.
This is how it works: there is no way you can reach anyone without a Sim card in his phone, even if he uses the best phone, he wouldn’t be reached, that small piece of paper in a GSM places a major role in communication. Just as you don’t see your Sim card while communicating, in like manner the spirit is not visible, but places major role in your communication with God.
Beloved, subsequently I will be teaching on how to make the best of your spirit. Can I shock you? Your entire life revolve round this, believe me honestly, proper understanding of this subject will bring a turn around in your life, it is important you follow the teaching on the Holy Spirit and this one ‘ The Spirit of Man ‘, last Wednesday was the part 4 edition on THE HOLY SPIRIT, read all the parts because by the Spirit and grace of God I will show you the link between the two, and how you can understand communication in the spirit.
