Topic: THE HOLY SPIRIT ( part 4 )
Text : Isaiah 11:1-3
1: And there shall come forth a Shoot out of the stock of Jesse [David’s father], and a Branch out of his roots shall grow and bear fruit.
2: And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him—the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the reverential and obedient fear of the Lord—
In part 3 of this series the emphasis was being possessed by the Holy Spirit, and I promised to emphasis on speaking in tongues today, but the Holy Spirit ministered to me talk more about his activities, subsequently I will give detail teaching about speaking tongues.
Most times people think minsters of the gospel e.g Pastors , Evangelists, need the Holy Spirit the more because of their assignments, but far beyond that, everybody needs the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit demonstrates in us in divers ways, he demonstrates his power through some, his wisdom through some, and impact indebt knowledge in some, he can also do all in a man, that means a man carry experience the power, wisdom and knowledge of deep things through the Holy Spirit.
The emphasis here is the demonstration of the wisdom of the Holy Spirit. You don’t have to be a preacher before you experience this, God by his Spirit has raised some men to invent what he didn’t create, for instance, God didn’t not manufacture cars, he gave some people the wisdom to do that, a man by the wisdom of God through the Holy Spirit discovered electricity and lighten up our world.
The Holy Spirit is not just mindful of our spiritual well-being, but also our physical well-being, our world is better compared to centuries of years before now because of some people’s innovations through the Spirit of God, imagine a world without electricity, phone, internet, aircraft, etc.
You will agree with me that there are still more to be discovered in science and technology, health, the world is yet to experience the best. Great innovations are still on the way and God will deliver to our world by his Spirit through some people.
Someone need to discover cure for HIV/AIDS, cancer, insanity, there will still be great discoveries in technology, all these will happen through some people by the wisdom of the Holy Spirit. Let me conclude this way, in whatever area of career you are, God wants to show forth is wisdom through you, you are not just meant to have a life and a family and enjoy life, you are also meant to be a blessing to your world, and that can be possible by your relationship the Holy Spirit. There is a lot to your life, so much beloved, it does not matter your level now, God is set to make something great out of your life by his Spirit. God bless you.

* Possess me by your spirit oh Lord.
* Make something great out of me.
* Another day to fast and pray, endeavor to be part of it.
