Topic: HE WILL FIGHT FOR YOU
Text: Exodus 14:1-31KJV
24 And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the Lord looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians,
25 And took off their chariot wheels, that they drave them heavily: so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel; for the Lord fighteth for them against the Egyptians.
26 And the Lord said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the sea, that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen.
27 And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the Lord overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea.
Three prayer points drop in my mind as we want to consider this passage of the scripture above.
When the Israelites left the land of Egypt and approached the red sea, It dawn on King Pharaoh that he had let the Israelites go and so he gathered 600 army with their chariots and pursued after them. With the Egyptians on chariots, the multitude of Israelites on foot and the red sea ahead of the Israelites, yet the Egyptians could not catch up with the Israelites because God slowed down the speed of the Egyptians’ chariots and they drove with difficulty. This is the first prayer point, I decree into your life that no matter how the enemies pursue they will never catch up with you in Jesus Name.
In verse 25 of our text above, it was obvious to the Egyptians that God was fighting for the Israelites, “… so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel; for the Lord fighteth for them against the Egyptians.” Here is the second prayer point, I pray for you again that God will fight for you such that even your adversaries will testify of it in Jesus Name. Now, despite the fact, the Egyptians knew that there was no luck on their side in the pursuit of the Israelites, they did not withdraw, they kept on pursuing even in the midst of the red sea and God eventually cause the red sea to close up on them and destroyed the entire 600 soldiers of the Egyptians. The third prayer point says, before the enemies that pursue after your life to get you, they would be destroyed and perish for your sake in Jesus Name. God bless you.

* Father, fight my battles for me such that it will be obvious to all that you are on my side in Jesus Name.
