Topic: EFFORTS OF THE WICKED
Text: Numbers 23:1-30KJV
1 And Balaam said unto Balak, Build me here seven altars, and prepare me here seven oxen and seven rams.
2 And Balak did as Balaam had spoken; and Balak and Balaam offered on every altar a bullock and a ram.
11 And Balak said unto Balaam, What hast thou done unto me? I took thee to curse mine enemies, and, behold, thou hast blessed them altogether.
The activities of the enemies and wickedness of evil are not without efforts. The enemies put efforts in place to unleash their wickedness upon their targets. Some denied themselves of comfort, some starve themselves of food, some covenant their souls to the devil, even some sacrifice the lives of their children just to advance their rank in satanic kingdom all in a bid to perpetrate wickedness.
From our text above, Balak the king of Moab, put a great deal of efforts together to curse the Israelites. Balak paid heavily to hired Balaam, a prophet with high pedigree, not only that, he built seven different altars in three different locations for Balaam, he denied himself of the comfort of his palace, all of these just to ensure that Balaam cursed the Israelites but God frustrated all his efforts and rather for Balaam to curse Israel, he blessed them. I decree into your life, in the name that is above every other name, that every effort the enemies has put in place to destroy your life, will be frustrated in Jesus Name.
In Exodus 14, when the Israelites were moving out the land of Egypt, Pharaoh gathered his armies and their chariots to pursue after the Israelites to return them back into captivity, even though they were on chariots, the Almighty God frustrated their efforts such that with all their chariots and armies in place they could never catch up with the Israelites who were trekking, God by Himself reduced the speed of the Egyptians, they ride their chariots with difficulties and they could never catch up with the Israelites until the Israelites had all passed through the red sea on their foot.
See Exodus 14:24-25 “Now it came to pass, in the morning watch, that the Lord looked down upon the army of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and cloud, and He troubled the army of the Egyptians. And He took off their chariot wheels, so that they drove them with difficulty; …..” However, when Pharaoh and his armies with their chariots dared to still pursue the Israelites, the red sea drowned them all to death. I decree again, every arsenal your enemies has packaged together all the days of their lives to cause you harm, the Almighty God will frustrate them right before your very eyes in Jesus Name.
