PREVAILING VOICE DAILY
14th November
Topic: WHEN NO ONE HELPS
text: John 5:2-9 KJV
4 For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.
5 And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years.
6 When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?
7 The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.
As I was going to church last Sunday, I was burdened in my heart to intercede for someone distance away, whose health condition requires God’s intervention, and I said within myself how I wish I was where the person is to help the person, immediately God drop our text today in my heart and said, even when no one is there to help, I will help. So I bring this word of the Lord today.
Many times in our lives, we lend helping hands to others in need, likewise others have rendered help to us. It is natural and normal to expect certain help or assistance from friends, colleagues, neighbours and especially from your families and loved ones. But critically, it is not impossible that at some times from these ones, there may be no help possibly because:
* they are helpless themselves
* they have no capacity to render such help
* they are not available to help (distance away from where you are)
* they are just tired of your issues and choose not to help or abandon you. e.t.c
Beloved, I bring to you the word of God today, that even when no one helps, Jesus will help you. He is a true friend, a sure friend and a trusted friend. He is the very present help in times of trouble (Psalms 46:1)
From our scriptural text above, the man by the pool of Bethesda, was sincere and told Jesus that really he wanted to be made whole but there was no helping hand to help him be the first to step into the water when the Angel of God comes to trouble the water, no wonder, he had been there for years without his healing. It was certain that everyone he knew, loved, and was related to has abandoned him, even those he possibly had help in the past were no where to be found to do same for him. Glory be to God, even when he had no help Jesus found him out and healed him completely.
Dearly beloved, I don’t know how long you have waited at a junction of your life stagnant because there is no one to help move you forward, I speak to your life today that even when no one helps, God will help you, He will heal you, He will deliver you and meet your needs in Jesus Name. God bless you

* Father, when no one is there to help, Lord help me.
