Text: Galatians 6:7-8 KJV
7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
Everyone desires a better tomorrow, but not everyone is mindful of the fact that tomorrow is a product of what they do or fail to do today, that is according to our text above if you sow or live in corruption, evil, wickedness, sin or oppressing others, tomorrow would bring to you the exact harvest of the evil, wickedness, sin and corruption you have sown. I tell you the truth it could be terrible except the God delivers you by mercy.
On the other hand if you sow in righteousness today you are bound to have a better tomorrow, however there is an exception to this and that is the devil. Devil does not want anything good for God’s children, his mission is to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10). He does not relent in his evil works, he makes every effort to ensure anyone who sow righteousness today does not have a better tomorrow rather a terrible future. Consider this thought; if devil seeks to destroy the good that a righteous person has sown so as to make sure that person have a terrible future, how much more those who sow in sin and corruption today, it simply means their future is already in the hand of the devil and its a done deal, unless they repent and run to God, that is the only escape. Think on this things…
Beloved, one sure way that guarantees a better tomorrow irrespective of the devil’s mission or the activities of forces of darkness, is to stay connected to God. Job 8:7 says “Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase.”, Proverbs 4:18 also says “But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day”, meaning as you live each day with God as a just man and a righteousness man, your path and your life will keep shinning. It means with God, your tomorrow will be better than today, and there will never be a better yesterday. Beloved, live daily with God and your life will get better each day, because the best is only in God. God bless you.
