Topic: MIND YOUR HOME
Text: Matthew 26:41 KJV
41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
In life, to be mindful of something is to give detail and careful attention to such thing, in other word, whatever you are mindful of takes your whole attention for that moment. Among many things that man is mindful of, one common thing everyone is mindful of is our life. However, it is important we are mindful of our home as well, I mean give careful attention to your home. why? because;

• God is mindful of your home: If God could be interested in your home, then you should. God has good plans for your home (Jeremiah 29:11), He wants to bless your home (Deuteronomy 28:1-13), He has made you and your children for signs and wonders (Isaiah 8:18).

• Devil is mindful of your home: If devil could be mindful of your home then you’ve got to be mindful of your home. Devil has nothing but evil agenda for your home, his mission is to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10), he is out there like a roaring lion seeking to devour (1Peter 5:8).

• Men are mindful of your home: Your fellow men are equally mindful of you home. Some are interested in your home for good, others are interested in your home for its downfall, some well wishers are willing to see your family prosper and do well, while some ladies, strangers or even friend are willing to snatch your husband and break your home e.t.c

Dearly beloved, if God, devil and men are mindful of your home, then you must mind your home. You are a determinant factor of what those three above will or will not do. So mind your home to allow God fulfil His purpose in your home, mind your home to silent the devil and frustrate his plans for your family, and mind your home to open doors for helpers and shut your door against strangers and evil men.
As I conclude, take note of the two key words from our text above “Watch and Pray”, and do not be ignorant of the devices of the devil (2 Corinthians 2:11). God bless you.
PRAYER:
* Father, help me to watch, pray and be on guard for my home in Jesus Name.
* Father, let me not sleep the sleep of death both physically and spiritually in Jesus Name (Psalm 13:3).
