Prevailing Voice Daily 26th October

PREVAILING VOICE DAILY
26th October
Topic: GOD’S HEART CRY 1
Text: Isaiah 6:8KJV
8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me.
For a while we have been considering series of lesson on the word CRY. For the purpose of reminder we have considered:
* The sins of men cry to God for judgement against men.
* God hears the cry of men for repentance
* God hears the cry of intercession from individual, group of people or a whole nation on behalf of their land
* God hears the cry of the oppressed especially when the oppressed are his children. (click www.raisedbygrace.wordpress.com to read further)
Today, we are considering a new perspective on the word CRY. God also has His heart cry and which is a cry from God to us men. It is equally important that as God’s children we must hear God’s heart cry as well because He always hear ours. God’s heart cry does not connote that God is crying in tears, weeping or that He is helpless, it only connote that God has things that are uttermost in His heart for His people to do. There are two major heart cry from God to us, one of them is the cry for soul winning.
Several passages of the scriptures point clearly that God is in need of soul winners, He is looking for who He will send for this crucial assignment of evangelism.
In Isaiah 6:8, Isaiah heard heaven’s cry “Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me …”.
Roman 10:14 says “And how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?”
Luke 10:2 says “Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.”
God is not interested in the death of a sinner but want all sinners to come to repentance, so God’s heart cry is out for soul winners, just like Isaiah heard and responded, God is still saying Who shall I send and who will go for us. What will your response be?
Dearly beloved, If you want God to always hear your cry then it is crucial that you hear God’s heart cry as well.
I want to conclude with the lyrics of this song;
When He calls me, I will answer (3x)
I will be somewhere working for my God. God bless you
PRAYER:
* Father, help me to respond to this your heart cry in Jesus Name.
