Text : Revelation 4: 11
11: Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
You buy things to give you pleasure, your clothes, jewelries, cars and every other valuables are meant to give you pleasure. No sane person spends money or time on things that will not add value to him or bring him pleasure, in like manner, God made every man and every woman for his pleasure, either black or white, poor or rich, educated or not, disable or able, the blind, the lame, and lunatic inclusive. No single individual is made in error.
Everyone of us is expected to bring him glory and honour, created for his pleasure. We all are expected to sing his praise always in whatever condition. I was amazed one day in a public transport when a blind man came in at particular bus stop, came to be beg for alms: he started by saying ‘ I thank God for his kindness towards me ‘, he went on to say, ‘ you think I don’t have reasons to thank God, of course I do, ‘ he went further to say ‘ you guys allowed me in this bus because I am sane, though blind, I know you won’t allow a mad man in this bus ‘, what a challenge to everyone us who have our two eyes open?
You must understand that you are created bring pleasure to your creator, it is also important you understand that the creator, almighty God, is loving and caring, he does not create problem for us but rather brings us out of problem. You can’t get him to bring you out of problem by complaining, or wondering why he permits trouble in your life, but by calling for his attention through praise.
God cares for you much more than anyone, how do I know? : God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalms 46:1. Your obligation is to bring him pleasure through praise, and as you do that, his mighty hand will turn things around in your favour.
Praising in whatever condition is the pathway to victory over the devil and his host. Praise the Lord whoever you are, praise him wherever you are. Do have a praiseful week, God bless you.
