Topic: ACCOUNTABLE TO GOD
Text: Matthew 25:14-30
22 He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them.
23 His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
24 Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:
25 And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.
26 His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed:
27 Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.
We are not just here on earth to build family and build riches and wealth, God gave each of us talent with which to profit and we are accountable to Him. The talent you received from God is a clue to your mission and purpose on earth.
God didn’t make all things, but made all raw materials necessary for all things, for instance He didn’t make vehicles, phones, electricity etc, He made raw materials to make those things available and put talents in men to extract raw materials to make those things.
We all are gifted to make our world a better place, adding value to lives while the lives we touch give glory to God. Some people activate these gifts God gave them, they came out with discoveries that transforms our world, life just get easier by their discoveries. Those who discovered these things feel and live fulfill, they refuse to bury their talent like man in our passage.
We all are accountable to God, don’t fold your arms and say what can I do? Don’t feel less blessed, don’t allow challenges around you make you feel like nobody, you are loaded and well packaged by your creator, there is so much in you. God never created a useless person except the one that makes himself or herself useless, we all are blessed by God and created for special purposes, discover your talent and live purposefully because the creator will ask you what you did with the talent or talents you are given. God bless you.
