PREVAILING VOICE DAILY
17th August
Topic: ACCELERATED TIME
Text: Psalms 102:13 KJV
13- Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.
Rome as they say was not built in a day, this statement was made to clearly depict that success is not achieved suddenly, that is success is achieved with time. As such certain things (achievements, miracles e.t.c) are expected to be in place in the course of time. For example, a boy of 17 or 18 years who is a university student possible would not be a surprise to anyone because it is expected that at that age he should achieved such height but if a boy of 12 years who is expected to be in high school is found being a university student already will be a surprise and amazement to the world because his achievement is an accelerated one.
In 1 Samuel 16:1-12 when Samuel went to Jesse’s house to anoint a king among his sons for Israel, Jesse paraded his hefty, mighty and warrior sons before Samuel because he felt their age and status fit such achievement but God rejected them all, until Samuel asked him are these all your sons, before he replied his last son (who he never considered could be the right choice) was in the bush tending his sheep and David was called forth and anointed. In 1 Samuel 17, David also defeated Goliath being youth and he was not even a trained soldier when warriors like King Saul and his mighty army went into hiding.
Dearly beloved, the Almighty God, the one who owns times and seasons can accelerate a man’s time, He can suddenly give you miracles and successes that will take others years of labour to achieve, He can make your life a wonder to your generation. He can give you speed to move in life just as He did for Elisha who with bear foot outran Ahab who was on chariot into the city. God bless you
PRAYER:
* Father, accelerate my time of fulfilment in life in Jesus Name
* Father, I reject delay and stagnancy in my journey of life in Jesus Name
* Father grant me speed in life in Jesus Name
* Father, what others struggle so hard to attain, I receive grace to achieve them with ease and in time in Jesus Name
