Topic: TIME OF GRACE
Text: Titus 2:11-12 KJV
11- For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
12- Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world.
The grace of God that brings salvation is available to all men as read in the text above. It is well known that we are in the time of grace and not the time of the law (Romans 8:1). Since we are in the time of grace (the grace is time bound), it means there will be a time the grace will elapse or expired.
God’s grace for salvation expires when:

• rapture takes place and the saints are caught up with Jesus in the air. Everyone found on earth at that time will have no more grace for salvation through Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross. (1 Thessalonians 4:15-18)

• when death comes, no more grace for salvation because there is no room for repentance in the grave. (Hebrews 9:27)

• when a man fails to heed to several warning of God for repentance, God can withdraw His grace upon such which mean such a person has exhausted God’s grace upon him. A true life story from a popular Pastor explains this. He said a very dear friend brought a sick woman to him, he (Pastor) was moved with passion and prayed seriously for the woman, as he prayed he felt God’s anointing flowing through his hand but as he laid it on that woman the anointing bounced back and he did this repeatedly pleading for God’s mercy on the woman but her head rejected the anointing until God spoke to him not to waste his time over the woman that she would die because she had failed repeatedly to heed God’s warning. (Proverbs 29:1)

Dearly beloved, we are in the time of grace, but this time will elapse suddenly within the twinkle of an eye, therefore do not postpone the day of your salvation, this very day is your day of salvation, accept God’s free gift of eternal life by accepting Jesus Christ as your Saviour and repent of your sins so as to escape the impending wrath of God because when grace expires, God wrath will be poured upon sinners till eternity (Revelation 20:15). God bless you.
