Topic : TIME OF HARVEST
Text. : Matthew 7:1-11
7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
9 Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?
10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?
11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
As I grow up in faith and grace, I have not found alternative to prayer, prayer has wrought wonders in my life, many times I found myself in trouble, but through prayer God has always made me a victor. I have come to understand that when you pray and things remain the same keep praying, never give up praying.
I read the story of 2 men who went in search of gold, they were to extract gold from a rocky ground, they were assured of the availability of gold in the rock, beside the rock is an hammer to break the rock, but the first person to arrive the site will start breaking to get gold. One out ran the other, got to the site, pick up the hammer and started breaking, for good duration of time, he kept breaking the rock but couldn’t get gold, he concluded he was being deceived and left the site angrily.
The second person who was running behind, got to the site, believed that there should be gold in this place, refused to be discouraged by the fact that his competitor made effort but couldn’t get it, he continued where his competitor stopped, he built on his effort, and after sometime he got gold and was declared winner.
Like the winner in this story, you must believe the word of God, no matter what you are going through, no matter what doctors say about your health, or what experts in the area of your challenge say.
See what Jesus said in our passage in verse 8 ‘ For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. ‘ Keep praying, sow seed through prayer your harvest is coming.
The Lord told me to specifically tell someone ‘ YOUR HARVEST IS CLOSE ‘. God bless you.
