Prevailing Voice Daily 6th August

PREVAILING VOICE DAILY
6th August
Topic: THE AFTERMATH OF PRAISE
Text. : Psalm 67:1-7
3 Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee.
4 O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for thou shalt judge the people righteously, and govern the nations upon earth. Selah.
5 Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee.
6 Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us.
7 God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.
God takes delight in praise, everyone who understands this and gives Him quality praise gets reward from Him. Most times in our trying times, circumstances around do not encourage praise, The one going through challenges gets in a mood he doesn’t feel like praising, but there is a mystery and that is what I am trying explain here.
Everyone who is able put to aside his discouraging mood in time of challenges and swift to the realm of praise like Paul and Silas while in prison, experiences the move of God. The genesis of coming out any problem is to switch from the negative mood of the challenges to positive side of praise, at the point man begins to worship God, he is beginning to sign on to the touch of God.
Job is a typical example of what I am sharing here, check out his statement in Job 1:
21 And said, Naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lordgave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.
22 In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly.
The aftermath of Job’s action is great increase, his wife persuaded him to speak ill of God, he referred to her action as foolish, Job understands that in any circumstance God must be praised, no matter what, He must be praised, what a great thought and understanding that leads to breakthrough and testimonies.
When you begin to praise in time of crisis you are logging out of the crisis, this is simply because praise attracts God’s presence into your affairs, and God can’t be around and you remain in crisis.
From our text, when the people praise God this what will happen ‘ 6 Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us.
7 God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him. ‘ The point of breakthrough is when you refuse to be discouraged in time of crisis but you pick up praise instead. God bless you. Do have a praiseful week.
PRAYER.
* Lord let not your praise depart from my mouth.
