Prevailing Voice Daily 30th July

PREVAILING VOICE DAILY
30th July
Topic: JUST THANKS
Text : Psalms 103: 1-22
103 Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
6 The Lord executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.
We have endless list of reasons why we should bless the Lord, great and marvelous are His works towards us, life makes a lot of sense because God brightens our path, countless times we have been in trouble but He brought us out by His mercies, how glorious are His works in our lives?
A deep thought into His dealings with our lives gives us concrete reasons for appreciation, and as we put things together, events and circumstances, we just want to give thanks. We should thank Him for rain, for sunshine, for provision in time of lack, for peace in time of storm.
Oh how fervent we pray in our trying times, and how cold we are in times of appreciation, things now look easy as if we could have come of problem by our own power.
That is the reason the Psalmist in our text said to his soul ‘ bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits, ‘ he knew that when problems are solved , it looks like things happen by circumstances, as if no supernatural hand is involved. Like the Psalmist we all must understand that supernatural hand is involved in bringing us out of problem and always remember to give God thanks. God bless you.
