Text: Judges 6:1-40 KJV
12 And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him, and said unto him, The Lord is with thee, thou mighty man of valour.
13 And Gideon said unto him, Oh my Lord, if the Lord be with us, why then is all this befallen us? and where be all his miracles which our fathers told us of, saying, Did not the Lord bring us up from Egypt? but now the Lord hath forsaken us, and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites.
14 And the Lord looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee
From our scriptural text above, Gideon had an encounter with God which he had never had before in his life time, and the angel of the Lord told him to go in the might of that encounter and the zeal in him, that he would save Israel from their enemies.
Beloved, we have received encounter from God, in last 16 days (July 4th-19th) waiting on the Lord in fasting and prayer, I have no doubt that your spirit has received fresh fire, your life has been revived, your mind has been renewed, your strength has been refreshed by God. So go in the might of this encounter and never look back, slumber or retreat. Don’t let go of what God has deposited in you for anything in this life, keep the fire burning, keep the spirit alive, stay connected to God. Don’t allow the devil, his agents, or even his evil vices to waste your 16 days of waiting on God in fasting and prayer. So I say again go in this thy might. God bless you.

* Father, help me to keep the fire of my encounter with you burning in Jesus Name
* Father, I will not lose touch of you again in Jesus Name
