Text: Matthew 16:16-19
St. Matthew 16:16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
St. Matthew 16:17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
St. Matthew 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
St. Matthew 16:19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Just like every country has her embassy in other countries, in like manner, the kingdom of heaven has an embassy on earth and that is the Church. God gave power to her to represent Him and His Kingdom, every believer is a part of the church, every member of the church is expected to carryout kingdom assignment.
HER ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Bringing sinners to God’s kingdom.
* Disciplining converted souls.
* Destroying the works of the devil.
* Liberating men from the powers of darkness.
* Preparing believers for heaven.
* Empowering people to fulfill their destinies.
Every believer is expected to carryout these responsibilities.
PRAYER
* Worship Him for prayer points He has answered from day 1 of our fasting.
* Lord empower me to carryout these responsibilities.
* Making me a soul winner.
* Lay your hand upon me and use me.
* Pray for your pastor and your church.
* Pray for PREVAILING FAMILY and her leadership.
* Lord let the Gospel of Christ prosper in our generation.
* Let there be great harvest of souls in our time.
* Let your Kingdom come upon this generation.
* I frustrate every agenda of the gate of hell over my life, family, church and country.
