Topic: THE AXE HEAD
Text: 2 kings 6:1-7
2 Kings 6:1 One day the group of prophets came to Elisha and told him, “As you can see, this place where we meet with you is too small.
2 Kings 6:2 Let’s go down to the Jordan River, where there are plenty of logs. There we can build a new place for us to meet.” “All right,” he told them, “go ahead.”
2 Kings 6:5 But as one of them was chopping, his ax head fell into the river. “Ah, my lord!” he cried. “It was a borrowed ax!”
The Axe was a tool needed for expansion, it was necessary for them to enlarge their dwelling place. In v.1 they said ‘ …the place we meet with you is too small ‘, so there was need for enlargement. It was needed to cut beams to build bigger tent, there is no way they can cut beam without the Axe but alas, the Axe head fell into river.
This is critical because the chances of expansion is minimal, they would have gone home with little or no beam. Many people like those sons of the prophets, have lost their tool for expansion, their businesses or jobs no longer meet their needs let alone bring expansion, their Axe head is lost, until there was restoration by the the man of God, Elisha, they were Lamenting, coupled with the fact that it was borrowed.
Probably you borrowed money and put in your business but it is all lost, never worry the word is coming your way this morning, there will be restoration, the Holy Spirit instructed me to share this message for you to be restored, your Axe head will return in the name of Jesus. I feel restoration for someone in my spirit man, as the man God ordered the Axe head to return, the same way I command your Axe head, your tool, medium, means, of expansion, enlargement, prosperity, breakthrough to return in the name of Jesus.
If you aren’t got any before now, you are receiving one this day, God will deliver into your hands means of breakthrough, prosperity, expansion in the name of Jesus.
PRAYER.
* Lord I receive your word with faith.
* Lord deliver into my hands medium of prosperity.
* Restore my Axe head.
