Topic: ILLUMINATING YOUR LIFE
Text : Job 22:21-30
Job 22:26 For then shalt thou have thy delight in the Almighty, and shalt lift up thy face unto God.
Job 22:27 Thou shalt make thy prayer unto him, and he shall hear thee, and thou shalt pay thy vows.
Job 22:28 Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.
Walking in darkness is one of the most tragic thing that can happen to a man. Darkness connotes confusion, darkness in life is lack of light and understanding of such a life. Not having direction to destiny is an indication that you are living in darkness.
When a man is not living meaningful it is also an indication that, such life is living in darkness. There is what the bible refers to as ‘ light of men ‘ in St. John 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. That tells us that man needs light in his life, it connotes direction, having understanding of how to go about life, living with purpose and focus, having assurance that you are on the right path.
One important point you must understand is that Jesus is the light of everyman’s life, it is also important you how to get that light into your life. From our text let’s draw some certain points.
From v.26 we got 2 valid points : having your delight in God and setting thy face unto Him. V.27 pray unto Him, He shall hear you, pay your vows, these are very important points you must not joke with if want light to shine on your ways, and after then, you shall decree a thing and it will be established, make declarations of what you want in the place of prayer.
I have shut the door against myself making declarations of blessings I enjoy today, I do this fasting, for 3 hours, 5hours, 7 hours, at time a whole day. Declaring things that be not as if they are in the place of prayer and fasting, as I do this, I see light break forth in my spirit, I see things clearly, I get direction into destiny. I beseech you to do the same and you will see light break forth in your spirit and life. God bless you.

* It is another day to fast and pray, endeavor to be part of it.
