Topic: PLANNED AGAINST GOD’S WILL
Text: Genesis 11:1-9KJV
3-And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them thoroughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter.
4-And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.
6-And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.
7-Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.
The Almighty God is the original designer of purpose and destiny.
Everything He created, He created them for a purpose, Revelation 4:11 says God created all things for His pleasure, and all things are in existence for His pleasure.
As much as God has His original purpose and will for every lives, people, forces and devil often work or plan against God’s will.
When God created man in Genesis chapter one, He gave man the mandate to be fruitful, multiply, replenish the earth and have dominion over all others things created meaning, God wanted men to spread all over the earth, populate the whole earth and dominate, God never intended for men to cluster in a particular location without spreading. But from our scriptural text above, these men planned against God’s original purpose and will for them, they did not want to spread, they want to cluster and remain together in a city they were building called the tower of Babel.
When God saw their determination and knew they would achieved their purpose, He called on the Trinity to visit and confound their language. When heavens scattered their language of communication, their plans failed while God’s agenda was fulfilled.
Dearly beloved, God’s purpose for your life is meant to be fulfilled and nothing short of that, but the devil, his agents, or even you can be working against God’s purpose for your life. I decree, in whatever capacity they have planned or planning against God’s will for your life, the host of heaven will scatter them in Jesus Name. Beloved, be stirred up in your spirit to pray that heavens scatter and confound the language of those who gather against the purpose of God for your life, and if it is you walking in a wrong direction, ask the Holy spirit to re-direct you on the right path to fulfilment of your God given destiny. * Father, every gathering of people, powers or forces of darkness against your purpose for my life, let them be scattered in Jesus Name
* Lord if I am working against you plans for my life, by your mercy re-direct me in Jesus Name
