Text. : Luke 14:28-32
St. Luke 14:28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?
St. Luke 14:29 Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him,
St. Luke 14:30 Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.
This is important and inevitable for everyone who desires to make headway in life. It is necessary to plan and absolutely important to review our plans. Before talking about reviewing plans let me make some important points about planning.
It will not be out of place to say a good number of people plan, but most times things appear they have not planned at all. Plans fail for 2 major reasons I know :
1, When there are not realistic: do not plan on exaggerated forecasted results, do not count your eggs before hatching them. Planned on possible feasible outcome.
2, When plans are not God’s will for your life: this is very key, struggling to go abroad when God has prepared some great things for you in your country, If God loves you He will do everything to stop you from leaving where you will prosper.
Another key point is this , Reviewing your plans, when planning, timing should be put into consideration, things changes with time, let your plans be relevant with time. A good example is this : sales of rug used to be lubricative, when rug was in vogue, but since the emergence of tiles, demand for rugs has reduced drastically. When there is a shift in the business you do, strategize, it is dangerous to remain static, be dynamic, foresee aright and forecast rightly. God bless you . Do have a profitable week.
