5th April
Text : Philippians 3:1-21
Philippians 3:12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.
Philippians 3:13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
Philippians 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
God’s grace brought us where are, I knew as boy who that if I am going to make head way in life, I must be acquainted with God. As I seek Him, His mercies and grace bring transformation.
That is what He does to anyone who resolves to seek Him wholeheartedly, He releases grace. I know we all have witnessed God’s faithfulness in our lives, remember when you were at a cross road and He showed you the way, when it seems the enemy was about to knock you down, God gave you victory.
God ministered to me by His Spirit ‘ Yemi, if you forget how you got here, you won’t go farther ‘. This is synonymous to saying ‘ river that forgets its source will dry ‘, of course I know how I got here , by God, fellowship with Him, waiting upon Him, trusting Him, representing Him, and as I look back down childhood days on this occasion of my birthday my conclusion is this ‘ God is faithful, gracious and merciful ‘.
The way forward is to remain in Him keep trusting Him, what God has done for you and I is an insignificant fraction of what He wants to do for us, He has greater plans, higher level He is taking us, best of you is yet to manifest, stay cleave to Him, let nothing separate from Him.
Let this be your song :
I’m pressing on, the upward way , new height am gaining everyday, still praying as I onward bound, Lord plant my feet on higher ground.
Lord lift me up, and let me stand by faith on heaven’s table land.
Higher plain than I have found, Lord plant my feet on higher ground.
* Ask God to take you higher in life.
* Break every yoke of stagnancy.
* Another day to wait upon the Lord.
Ezekiel 24,25
