Topic: THE NARROW PATH
Text: Matthew 7:14KJV
14- Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
When you hear the narrow path or way, one thing comes to mind as Christians that is the road that leads to the great city (heaven). Every one wants to get to heaven, the great and beautiful city of God but not everyone wants to pass through the narrow way that leads to the city and that is the only way.
Naturally in life, there may be many ways to achieve a goal, that is there are always alternatives or plan B, peradventure plan A fails, but in this matter, there is no alternative way or plan B to get to the great city, its just one way and the only way.
Having understood that it is just one pathway to the great city, let’s consider its features according to our text above:
- Strait Gate: The city is very great with great mansions for overcomers but the gate is strait, there is no free passage, no easy access. Before one can enter therein, the person must be scrutinized and must have passed the needed requirement before the person can be granted access. No wonder the bible said no unclean thing shall enter therein.(Revelation 21:27)

Narrow Path: The path is narrow meaning it does not give room to people with attachments like unnecessary loads and baggages, it means you have to consciously and carefully walk you way through it, since its strict with limited space you might not be able go through with entourage and friends, its just everyone for himselfor herself

Few People: Only few people are found going through the narrow path. It is not unexpected that few people walk therein because of the strait gate and the narrow way but the question is, are you among that few?. It’s all a matter of choice, decide if you will follow the hard and the only way to heaven or the free and broad way the hell. Make your choice today. God bless you
