Topic: CELEBRATING AND ACTIVATING OUR VICTORY.

1 Samuel 17:37 David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee.
Life’s battle is common with everyone, at every level there are challenges to deal with, faithful is He who has always given us victory. Isn’t it amazing that at difficult times we lift our voices to God, He does answer us. I don’t know about you but in times of crisis, I have always cried to God and He does send help.
I remember when I was to drop out of school at Junior secondary school 3 when dad told me he couldn’t pay for my exams, I declared a fast the next day, and someone miraculously paid the bulk of the money, we rally round for the balance at home. That would have been diversion of destiny as dad told me to take up tailoring or carpentry.
Oh I remember how I gained admission into higher institution, when all hope was lost that particular year, I prayed and fasted , God sent help, I got admitted while several students were sent home even those who have higher grade than I.
I can’t forget how I waited upon the Lord for good job, I insisted on working in a bank when the pay was very good, I applied faith in fasting and prayer, I got it , devil was too angry to see me get the job, I have gotten offer letter and every document, as I go home rejoicing planning to resume work the next day, I didn’t see a vehicle running with speed to knock me down, I narrowly escape it. Just to mention a few.
It is important we remember God’s Faithfulness in our lives, David remembered his and was confident that God will help defeat Goliath. He knew that God has answered him in the past and He will answer again and again. I see David saying ‘ God was with me when I killed lion with my bear hands, and the last time I checked, He is still with me, then I used bear hands, I have swing and stones now, I am persuaded that this uncircumcised Philistines will fall before God and me ‘
David was celebrating his past victories and activating new one, that’s exactly what you do when you remember what God has done and what He will do. Look at this : Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony… If God has ever answered your prayer, He will answer again ensure. Your ways are right before Him, don’t let Him find iniquity in you. God bless you.
PRAYER.
* Appreciate God for testimonies of the past.
* Say ‘ I have prevail before, I am prevailing again and again and again.
* Confront your present challenges with fasting and prayer today.
