Topic: DESTROYING THE WORKS OF DARKNESS
Text: Psalms 74:20KJV
20- Have respect unto the covenant: for the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty.
The earth is full of works of darkness. As light exist and works of light exist likewise darkness and works of darkness are rampant on the surface of the earth.
Our text says the dark places of the earth and habitation of cruelty and wickedness, they are habitation where works of darkness are penetrated. The fact that we are mortal men living on the surface of the earth subjects us man to the activities of darkness. Also the fact that devil and his fallen demons were cast down from heaven to earth, also subject men to the works of darkness, however glory be to God that we have power and authority over the works of darkness in the name of Jesus.
1 John 3:8 says “He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.” The main reason Jesus came to earth was to destroy the works of darkness, this victory He has given to us in His name that at the of Jesus, every knee should bow of things in heavens, on earth and under the earth and every tongues confess that Jesus is Lord (Philippians 2:10-11).
One thing that is left is for us to prayer, command, decree and destroy the works of darkness in the name of Jesus. Dearly beloved, what ever appears to be the works of darkness in your life or around you, pray and destroy by the power in the name of Jesus. God bless you.

* Every appearances of the works of darkness in my life, family, ministry or around me, I destroy this morning in the name of Jesus.
