Topic: PRAISING IN HIS SANCTUARY
Text. : Psalms 134: 1-3
Psalms 134:1 Behold, bless ye the LORD, all ye servants of the LORD, which by night stand in the house of the LORD.
Psalms 134:2 Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the LORD.
Psalms 134:3 The LORD that made heaven and earth bless thee out of Zion.
God’s sanctuary is where God dwells, following instructions from our passage it is important we worship Him in His sanctuary. God is a spirit being and He dwells in mortal bodies, giving that He dwells in our bodies, then our bodies are His sanctuary, it is important we worship Him with our bodies, how do I mean? Being conscious of the fact that the Holy Spirit dwells in our bodies we must glorify God in them.
This consciousness will help you abstain from sin, if I have Holy Spirit in my life and I live dirty life, soonest I will drive Him away, He abides with me as long as I stay holy. My worship first of all is from my body, life, my personal relationship with God , my worship does not beginning in the church. Worship in the church is the continuation of the worship that began at with me.
The church is suppose to be the gatherings for those who have personal relationship with God, it is the gatherings of the saints, it is not a place for sinners: how do I mean? As sinners worship with us in the church they should be converted to saints in no time.
Everyone should worship God in his or her individual sanctuary, and then collectively in the gathering of the saints worship Him as a church. So it is everyone’s responsibility to ensure that his or her sanctuary is holy, and you can be sure that praises rendered from such sanctuary attract blessings. God bless you.

* Lord help me to keep my sanctuary holy.
