Topic : STANDING BEFORE THE LORD
Text : Psalms 15: 1-5
Psalms 15:1 Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?
Psalms 15:2 He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.
Psalms 15:3 He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.
God is ever pure , He has and can never diminish in righteousness and holiness. Appearance before Him should be in holiness and righteousness, going to work with dirty and rough clothes is a way of provoking you boss, after series of warning, somedays he will send you back home.
Appearing before God with dirty lifestyle is like serving delicious food in a dirty plate.
Everyone who will present acceptable worship to God must live holy, this is not negotiable, it is an unchanging standard of God, everyone who will stand before Him must be ready to do without sin.
Verse 2 of our passage is very explicit about this : He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart. walking uprightly, working righteously and speaking the truth in his heart. Desist from the sinful lifestyle during the week and going to church on Sunday to clean up and begin another dirty lifestyle from Sunday evening.
Our worship, offerings, tithes all will be in vain if we can’t live holy. God bless you.

* Lord help me to live clean and holy.
