Topic: OUR GOD REIGNS
Text: John 12:29-32 KJV
29 The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to him.
30 Jesus answered and said, This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes.
31 Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.
32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.
God reigns in heavens, on earth, and everywhere. He reigns supreme over all things and even in our lives. Devil also has established thrones, altars on the earth since he was cast down from heaven to earth (Isaiah 14:12-19).
God wants to continually reign in every nations, homes and lives but He would not force Himself to do so, on the other hand devil also wants to reign in every nations of the earth, homes and lives. Devil will want do so by force even when you do not invite him.
However, men are left with the choice of whom they want to reign over their lands, nations, homes and lives. Jesus made it clear in John 12:32 if He be lifted up ….., He will draw all men unto Himself. Meaning if men allow Jesus to reign in their lands, homes and lives, He reign with peace, salvation, healing, blessings e.t.c
Joshua also understood this when he told the Israelites in Joshua 24:15 to choose whom they would serve, and told them as for him(Joshua) and his household they would serve the Lord.
Dearly beloved, God wants to reign supreme in your nation, land, home and life, the devil also want the same so choose you this day who will reign over your affairs but as for me and my household only the Almighty God will reign in my nation, land, home and my life. what about you?
PRAYER:
Father from today come and reign supreme over our nations, our lands, our homes and our lives in Jesus Name
