Topic: BY THE RIVERS OF WATER
Text : Psalms 1:1-6
Psalms 1:1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
Psalms 1:2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
Psalms 1:3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
The bible is full of blessings pronounced from the mouth of God Himself, but they don’t just jump on people, there are conditions to meet before those blessings can manifest in your life. It is important you know that life is a school, there are knowledge necessary for your prosperity, one of it is what I am discussing this morning.
Somebody that will be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth his fruit in his season, whose leaf shall not wither must not walk in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in the seat of the scornful.
Anyone who wants whatever he does to prosper must put his delight in the law of the Lord, and must meditate upon it day and night. These are standing instructions that necessitate prosperity, this is not a try and error principle, they are sure word of God that cannot fail, I am talking from experience, God hid the prosperity of people in obedience to His word, show me a man who prospers legitimately, I will show you his commitment to obeying God’s word.
Your background does not matter here, it is your obedience to God’s word that lunches you into prosperity. I wasn’t brought up with a silver spoon, in fact as a matter of fact, I needed work to start earning a living from senior secondary school one to finance my education, but I understand the secret of prosperity; it is purely obedience to God’s word. A switch to obedience is a switch to prosperity. God bless you.

* I receive grace to be obedient to your word always.
