Text: Luke 2:52 KJV
52- And Jesus increase in wisdom and stature and in favour with God and man
When a new born baby is born into the world, have heard many say the cry of the child is a sign of his/her birth into a world of sin, troubles, struggles, stress e.t.c
True as it may be that this world is full of cruelty, sins, troubles, sorrows, crises e.t.c yet this same world is not void of the presence, grace, glory, favour and mercy of God. God reigns in heaven and yet He rules in the affairs of men, God is still on the throne and His mercies still endures from generation to generation.
From our scriptural text above, Jesus was born into the same earth and world of sin and sorrow, yet the scripture says He grew in wisdom and stature and in favour with God and man.
Beloved, its all a matter of what you see your world to be, do you see the storms? or you see Jesus with you in the midst of the storms? Do you see a tree being blown terribly by strong wind? Or you see a bird standing calmly and peacefully on that troubled tree? How do you see the world around, remember as a man thinketh in his heart, so he is.
Dearly beloved, your children are God’s gift for you, they have their heaven’s space and their land space, don’t leave their heaven’s space and land space to fate, create the kind of world you want them to live in with prayer. They also can live in favour with God and man all through the days of their lives even in this merciless and cruel world. Let your prayers work for them, let your prayers create a world of favour, glory, honour, grace e.t.c for them. Let your prayers keep their heavens open and their land fruitful. Its all about what you want in your world and in your children’s world. I pray for everyone reading this devotional, that your children will grow in wisdom, stature and in favour with God and men in Jesus Name. Wickedness of men will not be their portion everywhere they go in Jesus Name. God bless you
PRAYER:
Father, I decree by the power in the name of Jesus that my children will grow in favour with God and men all the days of their lives in Jesus Name.
