Topic: ADVANCING IN GOD ( part 2)
Text: Isaiah 45:1-25
Isaiah 45:2 I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:
Isaiah 45:3 And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.
This is continuation of part 1, yesterday I stop at STEPS TO ADVANCEMENT.
I was sharing testimonies of what the Lord is doing in my life as I spend time in His presence.
I am still dwelling on that point this morning as the Holy Spirit is leading me, I am sharing practical ways our lives advance as we give God devotion. From our passage, in v.2 God is saying ‘ I will go before you, and make the crooked places straight,’ it is amazing to know that God himself is leading you forward, and He is ready to clear your way, He is committed to making crooked ways straight, this is really interesting and exciting .
If God is going ahead of us , it means He is set to lead us, you want to know how? As you worship in His presence on daily basis, you are connecting your spirit to the Holy Spirit, at that point there is free flowing of divine instructions, there is light in your spirit, you will have strong conviction that the step you are about to take will result into breakthrough.
From that point you take one step after another as the Holy Spirit gives instructions to your spirit and you will eventually see your dreams come true, see what He said in v.3 And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel. God is set to give you and I riches and treasures but they can’t be found on the street, we can only get them by waiting in His presence. God bless you.
PRAYER.
* Lord draw me closer to you.
* It is another day to wait upon the Lord, endeavor to be part of it.
* Make your request known to God as you wait in His presence.
