Prevailing Voice Daily 29th January

29th January
Text. : Luke 17:12-17
St. Luke 17:15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,
St. Luke 17:16 And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.
St. Luke 17:17 And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?
St. Luke 17:18 There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.
When under pressure to get a problem solved people pray with zeal and aggression, but once the problem is solved and pressure is gone there seems to be a kind of ease like nothing has happened, thereby making many lose sense of appreciation.
This is exactly the case here with the 10 lepers, who when in need of healing cried to Jesus for help, but immediately they got the healing forgot the healer. 9 of them lost sense of appreciation and see no need to return with praise. Everyone wise person will always return to the giver of blessing with appreciation like the leper that returned, giving glory to God.
It is absolutely important that the giver of blessing finds appreciation in us. A life without appreciation does not glorify the giver of blessing, life will continually render good things to anyone who knows how to return with thanks.
Come to think of it, the giver of all blessings , God, wants nothing from us but PRAISE, give all diligence to ensure you are not found wanting of praise . God bless you. Do have a praiseful week.
* Lord help me not to be found wanting of praise.
Jeremiah 11,12
