PREVAILING VOICE DAILY

Topic: DUTY OF CARE
Text : Luke 10:30-42
St. Luke 10:33 But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,
St. Luke 10:34 And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
St. Luke 10:35 And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.
Carefree attitude to neighbor’s urgent need in not scriptural, the world is getting hostile because of selfish lifestyle of people. We all owe ourselves duty of care, nonchalant attitude towards the cry of the needy is ungodly.
Look at this :Proverbs 21:13 Whoso stoppeth his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard. God detest anyone who does not give attention to the cry of the needy. It is important you understand that God blesses us to be blessing to others, it is like sending you to the poor. Giving food to the hungry, clothes on the naked, home to the homeless is part of Christianity.
While you can afford to buy a car somebody around can’t feed his family, another person can’t send his children to school, somebody’s problem is just $200 while you can afford to spend that as miscellaneous a day.
Everyone who wants more from God will diligently look around him to see who he can bless. God intends to make some people smile through us, answer some people’s prayer through us. Position yourself at a point where God can reach people through you, change people’s lives through you. Let some people be grateful to God for you. God Bess you.
PRAYER .
* Lord use me to bless others.
