Topic: PUT THEM OFF
Text. : Isaiah 52:1-15
Isaiah 52:1 Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean.
Isaiah 52:2 Shake thyself from the dust; arise, and sit down, O Jerusalem: loose thyself from the bands of thy neck, O captive daughter of Zion.
Isaiah 52:3 For thus saith the LORD, Ye have sold yourselves for nought; and ye shall be redeemed without money.
As the year passes bye you gat yo let go of some things in your life, note this : nothing will be new about the coming year except you take some cautious steps, the newness will remain ordinary numbering of days to those who will approach it casually .
You gat to let go of some things before you can experience the newness of the coming year, this is like wearing a particular outfit every day, it does not matter beautiful the outfit looks, it will soon lose it glory. Old thinking has capacity to keep anyone in the old year, old mindset and old method have capacity to keep you in yesteryears .
After doing a proper review of your activities in the year, improve on your methods or get new ones, review plans and strategies, as the world is advancing it is absolutely important you improve on every side, put off memories of failure, disappointment, poverty, believe you can do excellently in life.
Most importantly, you must put off some things spiritually.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: If you observed a particular evil occurrence in your life happening at specific period every year, or you notice that at particular time in each year at least one evil occurrence manifests, you gat to walk yourself out of that spiritually through prayer.
No evil occurrence must follow you to the new year, put them all off this day, I urge to join in our prayer and fast today to put them off, according to our text, shake your life from dust, put off poverty, sickness, failure, disappointment and discomfort, they must not follow you to the new year. God bless you.

* I shake my life from the dust: anything that dents my life like stains
* Evil arrows in my life locate your sender.
