And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint.
We are in a crucial season when we must carry everthing to God in prayer. Jesus gave us admonition from the scripture above that men ought to pray always without giving up. 1 Thessalonian 5:17 also support this support this that we should pray without ceasing. Let’s consider a few reasons why we should pray always at this crucial time:
* Because things are good: For every good things, victories, successes, promotions e.t.c that God has help us to attain, we need to pray because devil cometh not but to steal… (John 10:10)
* Because expectations are not met yet: The year runs to an end swiftly and there are great expectations for a blissful ending, so prayer is a key especially when accompanied with fasting to turn that bad and ugly situations to good (Mark 9:29)
* Because the spiritual controls the physical: we understand that the manifestation of things physically was first birth in the spirit, so we need to pray to call to manifestation physically all the good things God has given to us by his spirit and vice versa (1 Corinthians 2:9-10)
* Because God hears and answers prayer: God is never tired hearing our prayers and answering them, so we should not get tired praying to our God, Philippians 4:6 says ” Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God”
Dearly beloved, Matthew 7:7 says for everyone that asks,receives, so pray without ceasing and fuel your prayer with fasting. Join us today as wait on God in prayer and fasting. God bless you
PRAYER:
* Father, strengthen me to pray without ceasing
* Father, by your mighty power, everything you have provisioned for me for this year 2016 that has not come, I call them forth today in Jesus Name
* Father, what ever you have not planned for me for this year will not catch up with me and my family as the year runs to an end in Jesus.
