Text: Proverbs 22:6KJV
6- Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
Every child in our families, homes and society are the young people amongst us, the youths and the teenagers are not left out of this category of people. It is important that as young as they may be now, they should not be relegated or despised because they shall be great tomorrow.
Everyone of them is a nation, and a seed of greatness, and so our focus as parents, guidance and adult should be setting them right on the pathways to greatness by investing in them.
* Invest Spiritually: Hannah invested in Samuel spiritually by dedicating him totally to God(1Samuel 1:24-28), no wonder why Samuel became one of the greatest Prophets in Israel, because his words never falls to the ground (1 Samuel 3:19-21). So be like Hannah, by training your wards in the way of God. Teach them to pray, study God’s words and know God. I tell you the truth its a great investment.
Invest Academically: Send your wards to school to learn so that they can fit into the society. Take their education in top priority, invest in them to achieve their dreams. Even Moses, an adopted child in the house of Pharaoh was trained in all the wisdom of the Egyptians (Acts 7:22).
Invest Morally: Teach them how to live morally, and relate with others. Teach them moral values and their importance.
Beloved invest in your wards in every good and godly way till they become great. Ensure you have fulfilled your part in setting them on the path of greatness in life, remember young they may be now but great tomorrow. God bless you.
PRAYER
* Father, help me to set my children on the path of greatness in Jesus Name
* Father, give me all that I need to train them aright in Jesus Name.
