God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it ? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
From our text, one of the things impossible for God to do is to lie. He is a faithful God, without injustice, truth and upright is He, also His works are perfect and all His ways are just. Therefore if He says a thing He will surely do it. What He says He will do and What He promised He will fulfil.
At such a time like this in the world, in our nations and in our homes, a time where nations and homes (families) battle with different challenges and crises especially economic downtime, we need God’s word to scale through victoriously. A practical example is the story of Samaria in 2Kings 7. Samaria was in serious recession, economic downtime and famine, their deliverance came through the prophesy of God’s word by Prophet Elisha, and within 24hours their season of famine turned to season of plenty.
Beloved, God’s prophetic word has come to us on this devotional on 1st December, that this month is a month of Manifestation of Great Things (Joel 2:18-32). That prophetic words are scriptural, they are what God says He will do, remember God cannot lie because He is not a man. Therefore as you go through this month, wait patiently on God in prayer for the fulfilment of His prophesies in your life, home, ministry, work and nation. As I conclude, remember if God has said it, He will do it. God bless you
