PREVAILING VOICE DAILY
26th Move!beer
Topic : BREAKING THE EDGE
Text. : Ecclesiastics 10:1-10
Ecclesiastes 10:8 He that diggeth a pit shall fall into it; and whoso breaketh an hedge, a serpent shall bite him.
Ecclesiastes 10:9 Whoso removeth stones shall be hurt therewith; and he that cleaveth wood shall be endangered thereby.
There are edges of fire round God’s children, God promises divine protection for His children. The enemy is not permitted to touch us as God’s children, evils and strange experiences should not be our portion, but there are instances believers go through terrible experience and God is not to be blamed. This is because some have come outside that edge and protection made by God for His children.
Some so called married men abuse themselves with young ladies, they defy themselves because of lust, there by exposing their lives to the enemy to strike, the enemy has smitten some at their careless moment. Woman who also have extra marital affairs are also breaking the edge for a serpent to bite.
Any pleasure with anyone except your spouse is making an opening for a serpent to bite. Much more than the pleasure derived from meeting with a strange woman or man is plague that comes upon the family, faithfulness to your partner is securing God’s covering over your family.
PRAYER.
* Lord help me to be faithful to my marital vow.
