Topic: GETTING GOD
Text. : Genesis 32:22-30
Genesis 32:27 And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob.
Genesis 32:28 And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.
Genesis 32:30 And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.
God is the determinant of all things, the Lord determines who to be blessed and when to be blessed, everyone has this understanding don’t toy with God’s instructions. Jacob understands this so, when he saw the a man appearing like angel he held unto him tenaciously for blessing. He understands the following:
* When you get God, you get Grace: Jacob knew that only divine ability can see him through life, he held on to Him for divine ability to do exploit in life.
* When you get God, you get Gold: everyone who truly gets God cannot be stranded, in fact, He gives His people power to make wealth Deu. 8:18
* When you get God, you get Girl or Guy: God give who truly seek Him a good girl as wife and a good guy as husband.
* When you get, you get Glory: God is the giver of glory, everyone who seeks Him cannot live in shame Psalms 3:2.
* When get God, you get Going: everyone who seeks God, cannot be stagnated. No matter how touch things are, you get going, because God cannot be stopped, you cannot be stopped.
Giving all it takes to get God is synonymous to paying the sacrifice it takes to go through life. Getting God is the best thing that can happen to anyone. Living to please the Lord is attracting God’s attention to you. Give all it takes to get God and your life will not remain the same. Jacob became a blessed man for ever because he Prevail with God.
