Text. : 1 Corinthians 4:1-10
1 Corinthians 4:2 Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.
Every worker who will moves his or her company froward must understand some basic work ethics, proper understanding of what to do will move your company to the next level. A well informed worker knows what to do per time. Let’s look at some basic work ethics:
1, PUNCTUALITY: getting early to work is the first principle of work a good worker must not toy with, when you are early enough, you have enough time to settle down, preparing for the day’s work, you will be set for work before work begins. This helps you get organized, the day you are not organized you are likely to make more mistakes.
2, PROACTIVE: a proactive worker does his work ahead of time, he plans for work ahead of time, he knows what to do ahead of time, can predict how next day work will be and plan ahead of it.
3, PROFITABILITY: a good worker brings profit to his organization, he is worth much more than his paid, the company makes profit through him, his contribution to the company’s growth is not small, his absence is usually felt.
4, PERFORMANCE: his performance is rated high, some workers appear hardworking but when assessed on performance level they are rated low, this is because sometimes, the errors the make on their jobs outweigh their actually performance. Your actual performance must always be rated high as a goodworker
5, PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP: a worker keeps good relationship with both fellow workers and customers, customers keep coming because of his good rapport with them. His relationship shows he enjoys what he does.
6, PROFESSIONALISM: the way he goes about his work shows he is professional at what he does, he resolves issues faster than expected, he boss and customers are pleased with his Turn Around Time (TAT).
As you imbibe these work ethics your promotion is sure.
