Text. : Psalms 124: 1-8
Psalms 124:2 If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, when men rose up against us:
Psalms 124:3 Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us:
Psalms 124:4 Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul:
Psalms 124:6 Blessed be the LORD, who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth.
A deep reflection on our lives reveals God’s absolute care towards us, His mercies have seen us through many challenges, the enemy tried on every side but God silent him. Seen battles and unseen battles have been conquered.
God’s covenant of security has been sure over our lives, it could have been another story if not for God. Most times we feel we have not been blessed enough, especially when we base our assessment on others who appear richer than us, but in actual fact, God is fair to all, there is no partiality in God.
A deep thought on the issues of our lives, will leave us with no option than to bless the Lord, several numerous blessings that money cannot buy He has given us. A faithful worshipper will not hesitate to give God glory due to His name.
Go to church this morning giving glory and honor to the name of God, and do ensure you have a praiseful week. God bless you.
